Several ‘Triple Black’ Air Max 97 colourways launched in 2017 but none quite as striking as this design. It’s the sheen across the upper which makes this release so appealing. ‘Hematite Black’ isn’t a deep shade but gives a metallic grey hue which is both understated yet eye-catching.
Old school detailing can be seen throughout including a wavy construct that pays homage to the old school. The leather crafted mudguard adds some all important durability, as does the nylon padded tongue.
A blacked-out midsle continues the ninja-inspired theme, fitted with a tonal Air Unit which travels from heel to toe. This visible technology makes the Air Max 97 instantly recognisable as a classic.
